The name of our base is taken from the state capitals of Kansas and Missouri, where virtually all of our members reside. It also describes the names of two of the Navy's finest fast attack boats, USS Topeka (SSN-754) and USS Jefferson City (SSN-759). Each boat is currently assigned to Submarine Squadron 11, Commander, Submarine Force U.S. Pacific Fleet.
